The Embraer Phenom 100 is a Very Light Jet (VLJ) developed by Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer. Phenom 100 competes in a new class of business jet referred to by most as Very Light Jets (VLJs), and previously coined as "microjets." The VLJ concept sprung from the idea that there may be a demand for a smaller, more efficient jet that could compete against turbo props and standard light jets. Thus, some refer to a VLJ as the entry-level charter jet.It has a capacity for 4 passengers in its normal configuration, but it can carry up to 6 passengers if the lavatory is removed. It has a maximum flying range of 1,320 nautical miles.
