The Learjet 31 is a twin-engine, high speed business jet manufactured by Learjet. It seats a crew of two and is usually best for five to six adult passengers, although for groups with children it may seat up to 8 passengers. The Lear 31 essentially combines the fuselage and engines of the Lear Model 35 and 36 with the "Longhorn" wing similar to the Lear 55 model, which results in excellent performance rivaled by few aircraft in its class.
